Given that the Dallas County Heath and Human Services department has moved the COVID-19 risk level to RED (high risk of transmission), the Coordinating Team of the Synod of the Sun voted to postpone the Regional PDA Summit from September 9-10 to such a time as things are safer for all of God's children.
We do not believe that we should turn this particular event into something virtual, or even hybrid. There is too much relationship and trust building that needs to happen for that to be an effective method. As a reminder, postponement is NOT cancellation. This is a worthy and important conversation and it will continue. We will look to reschedule for 2022 with high hopes.
